A Mumbai Childhood, Reimagined
Long before Preeti opened her kitchen in Vancouver, she was a curious kid in Mumbai weaving through crowded lanes, drawn to the clatter of tava pans, the hiss of hot oil, and the unmistakable aroma of pav bhaji butter sizzling on a giant griddle. Those evenings shaped a lifelong passion for the bold, bright, deeply comforting flavours of Mumbai street food.
Years later, after settling in British Columbia, that craving never left. So we did what every good Mumbai kid would do — we got cooking. Preeti's Mumbai Street Food is the result: a labour of love built on family recipes, hand-ground masalas, and the kind of food that makes you close your eyes on the first bite.
